HTC has acknowledged that a software flaw on some of its Android phones means that they openly offer security credentials across the Wi-Fi networks they connect to. According to The Next Web, there would be nothing to stop someone harvesting the details to use in the future.

Day One iOS App Review
Day One is a Diary/Journal app that is as elegant as it is simple to use. Consider it a microblogging style of journal keeping. You pull up the app on your phone, hit the + sign and enter in a small bit of text about your life, hit save and your done. Right now, you can view your posts by entirety, by the calendar, or by starred items, but the developer is very active in updating the app and...

Jawbone UP band update
Blogger Note* I apologize for not posting recently. I’ve been very busy at work and then very sick in recent weeks.
Jawbone UP update:
Personally, I have had a roller coaster experience with UP. I had three defective bands in the last three months. Each month I would send one back and get a new one. And somehow someway they would just stop working. Stopped charging, irresponsive buttons,...

TweetFire App Preview
So I have been hearing a lot about user troubles with following one particular user within the twitter feed of all your favorite tweeters.
TweetFire App seems to look like any other twitter app, it does the basics like tweeting, following, and all the other twitter crazed will want. And it does it fast.
That might be enough for some, but TweetFire has an awesome additional feature where it...

Photography Tech Revolution?
The way we see photography may change forever when Lytro releases it’s camera and technology to the consumer market.
Lytro’s technology centers around the concept of light fields. When you take the picture on a normal camera, you are stuck with a certain focal point on the picture. It may be that the entire photo is in focus or just a part of it, but no matter how much post...

I own an Android. You own an Android. Heaps of people own Androids. But apparently 99 per cent of them can be easily attacked, every time we log into a website on an unsecured network. Color App Review Update
After thoroughly testing this app I can conclusively say…
Color app is the loneliest environment of all social platforms.
I even made my co-workers download and snap pictures with it. But the app didn’t find them. For a app touting social photo sharing, it wasn’t doing it’s job.
On to the next experimental project!

Just for everyone’s knowledge. T3CHN1NJA Tumblr is mostly updated through the iPhone app. The app is clean and easy to use. For simple posts like links, photos and one liners, it’s worthy of a free download for on the go Tumbling.
Android should have their own version too. Let me know what you like and dislike about it.
Happy posting.

Color App Review
Color is a new app that will change the way you share social photos. It uses your phone’s location to share photos. The app was newly released and is already starting to catch on. The concept sounds fun. Think...

NCAA March Madness OnDemand app
March Madness is here and if you are doing a bracket you may want to download this app.
It gives you access to all the games to watch live from your mobile devices.
3G usage is a little too slow to stream the game. It will do a bit if you wait and buffer it. But the stream will have connection issues at times.
With Wi-Fi the app is much more enjoyable and the stream can get pretty good. On...

The standard camera mode has a zoom bar and grid permanently on the display with a few options that may come in handy under options: stabilizer, timer, and burst shots. All of which work pretty well. Also two finger exposure and focusing touch commands are intuitive and easy to use.
